Get onboard Island Time and prepare to do exactly that. With small groups, a relaxed crew and plenty of swimming, snorkelling, fishing and exploring along the way, these tours are an easy way to experience Maggie from the water.

The Day Cruise is a half day adventure departing Horseshoe Bay at 8:45am with a maximum of eight guests. The route changes with the conditions, but can take in White Lady, Balding, Radical, Florence and Arthur Bays. Snorkel over the island’s fringing reefs, throw in a line, swim in secluded bays and hear a few of Maggie’s stories and secrets along the way. Snorkelling and fishing gear is included, along with morning tea, and there’s a shaded pontoon and onboard toilet for when it’s time to kick back.

If sunset is more your style, the Radical Bay Sunset Cruise is a two hour afternoon on the water. Cruise past some of the island’s beautiful northern bays, squeeze in a swim or a fish if you’re keen, then settle in with a complimentary glass of bubbles as the sun goes down. The exact route depends on the weather, with White Lady, Balding and Radical Bay all possibilities.

Island Time also offers private charters for families, groups and celebrations, with options for larger groups than their regular tours. They can even arrange private beach drop offs and water taxi trips on request.

Visit during whale season and keep your eyes on the horizon too. They don’t sell dedicated whale watching tours or guarantee sightings, but humpbacks regularly pass through the waters around Maggie during their annual migration and sometimes make a pretty spectacular appearance.

Small Groups, Maximum Island Time: Regular cruises take only eight guests, keeping things relaxed and leaving plenty of room to spread out, chat with the crew and enjoy the day without feeling like you’re on a big tour boat.

A Bit of Everything: Snorkel, fish, swim, explore secluded bays or sit back under the shade and watch Maggie go by. The Day Cruise packs plenty into half a day without making it feel rushed.

Sunset, Maggie Style: Two hours on the water, secluded northern bays and a glass of bubbles as the sun goes down. It’s a pretty good way to finish the day.

Go Private: Get your own group together and take over the boat, or ask about a drop off to a secluded beach for a picnic or BBQ. A great option when you want to do Maggie at your own pace.
